As for our Home Group, summertime has proved to be a transitional period for all the members, and we are seeking God's guidance for the direction ahead. It has been an awesome journey with the many individuals who have joined us over the last year and a half, and we've seen lives touched in countless ways. I (Sarah) will continue to mentor young ladies from our faith community.Meanwhile, together with our church leaders we are exploring a path of training and vision-casting for launching cell groups in the neighborhoods represented by our congregation. This is such an answer to prayer and we're excited about the possibilities for disciple-making and reaching out through a network of organic small groups.
Recently, we organized an Intensive English Course to serve primarily the refugees in Rome, along with church members of diverse ethnic backgrounds(including Italians!). What a fantastic collaborative effort between our church in Rome, our church in Ohio, and numerous Christian workers on site. This was a sort of experiment ("They said it couldn't be done") to bring together such a variety of people under the church roof, so to speak. We give thanks to our Heavenly Father for its success.

Hi Brian & Sarah,
I'm glad to hear that things went well with the English Team. We're continuing to pray for you and the transitions your team is going through.
