The esprit de corps that exists on a team is a major contributing factor to their effectiveness and endurance. The Rome City Team is growing and going deeper, and the Lord is forging bonds between us even as we’re all dispersed, on the move to reach our goal.
Brian and Sarah are in the U.S., to participate in Brian’s wedding and to visit with various supporting churches in the Midwest. Trinity is packing up to go home to California, for a period of raising her support that’s lacking. Zach and Naomi (and son Anthony) are in Illinois are busily waiting on the last trickle of support (and their VISA’s) to come in so they can finally get to the field. Scott and Elaine, in Wisconsin, are actively raising funds to be released so they too can join us soon.
We are very encouraged by the progress made and by the support team members whom God is prompting to participate in the Father’s business in Rome. Every one of us is aware of the blessed “tie that binds” our lives in this calling to make the Gospel known in this city. And we fervently cheer one another on in this race to reach the goal of being where God has called us and bringing Good News to the people of Rome.
