After a year or so of seeking a way to reach out in our neighborhood through English lessons, the Lord finally opened an unexpected door. The Head Librarian asked me to teach a conversation class in the local library. So I started a weekly class for adults a few weeks ago, and it’s been going well, offering an opportunity to get to know people and to shine the Light. I have a dozen students; we can’t fit more than that in the tight space provided. Public libraries in Europe are far smaller and more basic than those in the U.S. They nonetheless serve as a major though modest crossroads in every community.
