WE'VE ARRIVED BACK IN EUROPE

We (Brian, Philip, and Sarah) landed safe and sound in Brussels after a tearful goodbye to SG and Paul in the airport and three flights. Despite tornado warnings for NYC at the time of departure, we left on time. Faithful friends from church welcomed us at the airport. Now we're back in "francophonie" though we feel a bit rusty in French. It truly feels like coming home, yet we are only passing through!. We're staying in our dear friends' Anthony and Isabelle's house, who graciously stocked the fridge and waited to greet us before leaving on their vacation. Blessed hospitality! Philip was spirited away directly from the airport by his friends to stay with them. He was thrilled to see his bro's.

Tomorrow we will joyfully join our two church families: CCL in the morning, followed by a combined lunch with the Iranian congregation, then worship service with them at which Brian will bring the message.

Again, it is with bittersweetness that we leave our loved ones in the US. Thanks to all our friends and supporters for getting us here. We thank God for you!

DEPARTURE DAY!

We are saying our goodbyes this week to friends and family. Providence Church has re-commissioned us and gave us a lovely send-off. Tomorrow we fly to Europe. But we must first say goodbye to our 2 kids and to all the Counes (Sarah's family in Ohio). Lots of mixed emotions! But we rejoice that the day has come for us to take up God's next assignment. And we praise the Lord for His faithfulness and provision. We're grateful that our kids will each be in a good place.

We appreciate your prayers for us all at this point with all the transitions ahead. Our flight beginning Friday afternoon from Cleveland to NY, NY to Dublin, then from Dublin to arrive in Bruxelles Saturday AM. We will stay with church friends in Bruxelles for a week, then with friends in Kandern (Germany), along the way in Italy, and then at the Bible Institute in Rome. So we will be in transit for some time. it's all good, because God is guiding us step by step.
